We need your help to continue serving our community! Take a look at our accomplishments from our 2023/2024 season. With your help, we can fund the future and keep bringing exceptional choral music to the Triangle.
Contributions from individual music-loving supporters are an essential part of our funding. You also will be acknowledged in all CSC concert programs as a Supporting Member.
- Created work opportunities for 51 local artists – musicians, vocalists, conductors, and technicians
- Performed for 1,782 people and afforded performance opportunities to 513 artists.
- Audience Survey rating of 93% exceptional
- Student attendance increases of 16% at two concerts
- Due to increased outreach efforts, first-time attendees as high as 42% at some concerts.
- Increased diversity of both members and audiences through unique programming such as our first concert of the season, Our Star Will Not Wane – Celebrating Black Composers of the Americas
- Held open rehearsals for all interested singers at the Cary Big Sing
- Awarded the Fuller S. Blunt Scholarship ($1,000) to Senior at Apex Friendship High School
An artistic highlight of our 2023-2024 season was the Mozart Concert in April 2024. From William Adams review at Triangle Sings: “Mozart’s Requiem is not to be attempted by your average community choir. It requires great control, precision, dynamic expression, and stamina. The Concert Singers of Cary and the instrumentalists of Mallarmé Music did not perform at the level of your average community choir. Indeed, they exceeded all expectations and presented a Requiem worthy of many professional oratorio societies.”
