CSC Symphonic Choir (100+ voices)
The Symphonic Choir is a large community chorus with members from across the Triangle. We sing a wide variety of music, perform extended choral works with orchestra each year, and appear with organizations such as the North Carolina Symphony, the Durham Symphony, and Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle. The Symphonic Choir frequently collaborates with other community organizations and seeks opportunities to explore cultures, unite people and promote community.

CSC Chamber Choir (30 voices)
The Chamber Choir performs advanced a cappella and small ensemble works from all style periods. The roster for each performance varies depending on the needs of the repertoire. Singers in the Chamber Choir are highly experienced ensemble singers and soloists.

• Able to read music.
• Choral experience in church, school or community choirs a plus.
• Willing to sing, or learn to sing, in Latin, German, Italian or any other language when provided with resources and coaching.
• Available for all Symphonic Choir concerts.

• Strong music readers well-versed in notation and terminology and experienced in ensemble performance.
• Current or past private voice study is desirable.
• Able to learn music independently.
• Able to sing in Latin, German, Italian and French language diction with a reasonable amount of coaching.
• Available for three or more days of concentrated rehearsal and performance.
