About This Program

Join the Concert Singers of Cary as we present a concert of choral settings of some of William Shakespeare’s most famous and beloved texts. From Vaughan Williams’ timeless Serenade to Music, to George Shearing’s Songs and Sonnets set in a jazz idiom, to Paul David Thomas’ fascinating musical depiction of Lady Macbeth’s famous soliloquy Out, Damned Spot, the concert will have harmonies to suit everyone’s taste.
