Guest Artists – The Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle
The Cary Art Center

The Concert Singers of Cary Symphonic Choir and The Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle present an evening of mythical places, exploration, improvisation, and ancient spirituality from India.

The program features music by English composers Gustav Holst and Ralph Vaughan Williams, American composer William Grant Still, and the larger than life Ludwig van Beethoven. Pianist Allen Bailey will enlighten and inspire as piano soloist on what many believe was Beethoven’s “prequel” to his Ninth Symphony.

Beethoven – Choral Fantasy, Allen Bailey, soloist
William Grant Still – From a Lost Continent
Vaughan Williams – Toward the Unknown Region,
Holst – Choral Hymns from the Rigveda (Group 3)
