Mozart's Requiem

About This Program

Mozart’s Requiem is one of the monuments in the history of Western choral music. Left unfinished at the time of his premature death, the Requiem has inspired countless performances and multiple attempts at completion throughout its history.

We will be joined by Mallarmé Music as our orchestral collaborators, and these guest soloists:

  • Lucy Kimbell, soprano
  • Jami Rhodes-Galloway, mezzo-soprano
  • Robert Bracey, tenor
  • Coleridge Nash, bass
The concert will consist of two works by Mozart:
  • Dixit et Magnificat, KV 193 (Baerenreiter edition)
  • Requiem, KV 626 (Carus edition)
(note: tickets for this show are not available at the Cary Box Office or eTix; click on the button below, or you can purchase them at the door – cash, check or credit card)
