The Town of Cary has generously supported Concert Singers of Cary with financial and non-financial assistance since Concert Singers’ creation. The chorus was, in fact, an outgrowth of an initiative of the then-Cary Cultural Arts Commission in 1990.
In addition to a generous annual grant approved by the Town Council, the Town of Cary provides rehearsal space for the Symphonic Choir at Herbert Young Community Center and the C4 Children’s Chorus at Cary Senior Center, meeting space at Page-Walker Arts and History Center, and access to Town of Cary promotional resources.
Grant funds are used (in part) to support artistic staff, retain instrumental artists, purchase sheet music, rent performance space, and market CSC concert programs. Visit the Town of Cary web site.
